AWESOME AND COMFORTABLE CASA PARTICULAR IN PLAYA GIRON

I stayed at casa jose y lucy just one nigh, unfortunately! the house is close by the sea, just 10 minutes walking. the rooms are very big and clean with a private entrance and patio. beds are comfortable and cozy, ac equipped. jose has been super nice and helpful. his wife and him prepared one of the best breakfast i have ever had in cuba.

I had reserved a room in this casa specifically, asking that no other casas be substituted in place, but when we arrived, we were warmly greeted and taken next door to casa miguel y odalis. we were told that the 2 homes were owned by siblings. everything was fine at the place we stayed, so i didn't complain, but travellers should be aware that this will happen. the location is tucked away on a side street, but on arrival in playa giron, our taxi driver just asked a couple of people and we found it easily. it was an short walk to playa coco (for us, but then we think nothing of walking 15 minutes), and there are restaurants within that distance as well, if you are not eating at the casa. if you are arriving at the viazul station and have bags to carry, take a bicitaxi for a couple of cucs.

We were at jose mother, which was very pleasant. he knows very well to cook and is very friendly. we will never forget - thank you for everything / christo and natalia from slovakia

We had a very good time at this casa. the apartment was clean, it was nice to sit outside at night and the homemade food was very good. the owners were very friendly and helpful. they picked us up from the bus stop, arranged a tour to the nearby national park for us and gave us tips on where to snorkel and to eat (the one time we were not eating at the casa).

Don't recommend to other travelers
Tras reservar un mes antes y confirmar por sms eldía anterior llegamos por la tarde y nos dice que no puede alejarnos y nos manda a casa de su hermana.ella nos dice que tiene solo para un día y que puede intentar buscarnos en cienfuegos porque playa giron está lleno.nos fuimos por nuestra cuenta y encontramos enseguida.
