We had a brilliant time at nilda's. it was spotlessly clean, nilda's son ( edel ? ) is a professional chef and fed us royally. he also drove us everywhere we wanted to and arranged a taxi to take us back to havana. the location and rooms were ideal.we stayed 5 nights- edels wife did all our washing.i can highly recommend nilda's to other travellers.we were a family of 4.

EXCELLENT STAY, WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND. BRILLIANT COOKS!

Our friends recommended nilda's and i'm so glad they did as i did not find her in english on tripadvisor. we were talking about how lovely it was for the rest of our trip. the highlight was the food. these were the best vegetarian meals we had anywhere - and there was variety different nights. the house is a beautiful, classic colonial home with a great courtyard. the house is 3 blocks from the bus station and very centrally located for exploring trinidad, but far enough away from the loud music at night at casa de la musica (also great visit in trinidad). nilda and her staff arranged us a taxi to a nearby hike, as well as renting bikes (from her neighbour across the road) to cycle to playa ancon. note that there are main keys to the house but the rooms do not lock from the outside, only the inside. that said, we did not once worry about our things. the rooms are kept closed when you are not there. nilda and her staff keep a close eye on the house and their guests. visitors do not come and go. i wish we spoke spanish but nilda understands enough english and her staff speak enough to get by. we had a brilliant stay and would highly recommend her. as stated above, the food was brilliant!! all of this was such a reasonable cost.

A FINE CASA WITH GREAT FOOD

Nilda and her son met us at the bus depot not far from the casa. we felt at home in our room entering off an outdoor courtyard, sipping a cool drink supplied by nilda. the evening meal as delicious, much more food than we could eat - my husband wanted to extend our stay to another day! the central square is within easy walking distance and we enjoyed the music and dancing. the next day her son gave us a ride to a clean and secluded beach, topless if you wish. we really had a good time in trinidad and appreciated the casa nilda, the place to stay.

Eng - wonderful holiday in trinidad. in the house you can see the real cuba's life. the cooking, the services, the family ponce are fantastic. mr.adel can help you to visit all the nearest most important place and tell you whatelse you want. ita - una casa fantastica come le persone che la abitano. un servizio che fa invidia ai migliori hotel 5 stelle. la cucina e` ottima, la migliore che abbiamo provato nel nostro giro di cuba. adel con il suo servizio taxi e`gentilissimo. i prezzi sono ottimi, come ottima l ospitalita` di queste persone. assolutamente consigliato!!!
